Something I need to say.

Last Sunday night, something happened to my sight. I am blind in one eye and I am having issues with my good(?) eye. I lost my vision for about 3 hours. I dont know why, maybe I just got something in my eyes, I dont know. Any ways I am a vet and the VA is doing a great job. providing me health care. I have been in deep thought for the last few days on what to do if it reoccurs. To be honest, I really dont know. I am going to continue on, a day at a time, as I have done for years. I am a lucky man, I have cheated death many a time. If it gets too bad I will get a Tandem bike and make Eric drive while I ride and pedal. Do not feel sorry for me. It is my destiny, something I have always thought might happen. All is good. It has been over 72 hours with no more issues so maybe I dodged the ball again. One the bright side it may never reoccur. Now about Stooderville..............................

You know the old saying, "When someone hands you lemons, make lemonade." Albeit, may be some bitter lemonade with sugar.

Hallmark....go have it checked. It could be something minor like a migraine of the retina. But it needs to be checked.

Thanks Have a big time eye deal set up in Biloxi on the 28th. I have Pigment Dispersion Syndrome and Pigmentary Glaucoma. They seem to be very interested in my case. They seem to think they can save my good eye. I was very surprised when I had my episode. Time will tell but i am confident that all will be good. I will not go "total Black" just every thing will be very fuzzy. I can deal with that. Right now it doesnt take much to make me panic. LOL

Thank you. My case seems to be unusual so they are giving it a lot of attention. They have some first class equipment and they treat me very well. I am lucky. Thank you for your concern

Yes It is a simple quick procedure that opens holes in the matting of your eyes. I guess the name "Laser" makes it sound like a big deal. The VA people have been first rate.

HMG, I saw another piece on the news this morning about the retinal implant we were talking about. If wish I'd had time to give you a buzz so you could check it out yourself. Again, I have no idea if this would be helpful in your case, but it would be worth checking out when you go to Biloxi.

I'm glad you have arrangements there and back. My husband and I could have taken you, too. If there is anything you or Rita need after you get home, we're just a click away!

Thanks Eric I am a lucky man. I have good friends, a nice place to live(to me lol), a son,a daughter, and was lucky enough to have been born in one of the best places on earth at the perfect time. What is not to like? All is good.
