No Steering Wheel Empty
PostSubject: No Steering Wheel   No Steering Wheel EmptyTue Jan 15, 2013 4:35 pm

Yesterday, I saw an article from a car show. http://www.popsci.com/cars/article/2013-01/detroit-auto-show-2013-infiniti-q50-augurs-future-without-steering-wheels

No Steering Wheel Infini10

It was an Infiniti that was being shown... and it steers with a joystick. The article said that the car would be available this year (at the end of the summer).

Having died in video games so many times while utilizing a joystick, I just don't trust a joystick to control my vehicle.

A Google search for "no steering wheel", brought up a bunch of matches from earlier years and from other vehicle manufacturers. It scares the hell out of me

I also found the Back To The Future's Flux Capacitor in the passenger compartment of this Porsche.
No Steering Wheel 5bx5d-11

It is a flywheel designed to store kinetic energy while racing. After all, this car only has 767 horsepower...
