Sunday, there will be about 1,000 bikers that are mostly Viet Nam vets meeting at the American Legion off of 9 Mile Rd. They will line up at 11:30 and leave at noon with a police escort. They ride down 9 Mile to Pine Forest Rd, then Mobile Hwy, and then to the Wall South. They should be at the Wall South by 12:45 and will have a ceremony there. It was great last year and I met many veterans that were in some of my Marine Corps units a few years before I was.. A great place to watch them go by is at Home Depot's parking lot on Mobile Hwy and Fairfield. It will take them 20-30 minutes to go by, so be ready to stay there for a little while while the roads are closed to cars and trucks until the last bike goes by.

It's a great time of sharing brotherhood and respect.

I'd like to bring this forum back to life, but cannot seem to figure out how to start a new post. I'm working with Forumotion to get it fixed. Can y'all start a new topic?
