San Bernadino.....

Horrible situation but once again HEROES stepped up and took out the TERRORIST POS.....Some of the people most criticized and scrutinized...were one in the same that stepped up...stepped forward into harms' way to do a job most would want no part of....The first responders did their service proud...God Bless'em.....

   With special recognition to one officer in particular:

    The officer was with a group of survivors of the deplorable terrorist attack inside of one of the buildings and it was time to move them out  to safety....there was apprehension on the part of the group and the officer calmed them by saying...

    "I'll take a bullet before you do".......The group was moved to safer area.....

    This is an example of law enforcement officers that it's nice to see get the recognition that they deserve....Rather than focus and redundant rhetoric about the very few bad apples remember the good ones [like the ones on display yesterday in San Bernadino]....Not ALL LEO's deserve the bullshit thrown at them....

Lastly....all those bitching about military equipment for law enforcement....any questions?....

As usual the media generally only focuses on the negative, there are LEOs and other public safety professionals out doing their jobs every day. Doing them well, saving lives and preventing crime.

But the media will focus on the 1% who give the rest a bad name.

It's just frustrating that the dishonest element in any group and/or occupation gets the majority of the attention....With the munitions found in the terrorists dwelling.....they weren't done with the rampage....

I gotta admit, it seems like the San Bernadino LEOs responded quickly.

I was able to sort of watch the whole thing unfold, because I was at the orthopedic surgeon then at PT. Both had the tv on the news plus I had my phone. When they first said they were looking for a "black SUV" (then later they said it was a black Yukon; I see now it was an Expedition) I thought they would never, ever find these people. You know how many black SUVs are in San Bernadino??

Really, hats off to the LEOs on this one. I can't imagine how hard their jobs are.

What about that 3rd person they kept referencing? Was there ever a 3rd person? Are we missing someone?

It doesn't look like there was a 3rd person, I think that was an assumption in the beginning but not now. 50 witnesses will see 50 different versions of an event. What kind of hate does 2 people have to drop off their baby and go shoot over 30 innocent people?????

And there are some who think you can negotiate with terrorists.........

Or as AG Lynch said....This [San Bernadino] would be a "wonderful opportunity" for gun legislation....Where do they get these fools?....California...AR Restrictions....Magazine limits...and Strict Background Checks....

The media is also just as foolish...."What could possibly be the motive"..really?...This is new that the terrorists want to kill Americans and destroy America?...."Where did they get the training"?...Really?...How much training is required for two people to go into an area occupied by unarmed individuals that assumed these two were their friends and co-worker....And my favorite..."They were dressed in military style clothing and appeared to be highly trained"...Again, highly trained for taking out people at a Christmas....oops they said Holiday party....Yet in every case the media makes fools of themselves...They seemed surprised that the couple had recently gone to Saudi Arabia...psst here's a secret...the terrorist mastermind in Paris had recently gone to Syria...When the dots continue to be connected even the FBI would call it a clue....

Lastly, if this couple had lived in the United States for years...acclimated in our society...employed...hell even the workers held a party for the birth of the child...If this much time can be taken to fool good people how the hell can we be sure about the refugees here...coming or on the way?....
