So nice to hear this from such an enlightened group....

More white folks have been killed by cops; but let's not let the facts get in the way.

Sadly no....upset that the media coverage of Paris Attacks were taking away from their coverage/cause....and the message above was tweeted by a member of the group....There should be no one from the government willing to even listen to this group after their outrageous behavior...no credibility whatsoever....

Ain't that the truth!....All these decades/years later...there are some that still are unable to see and judge past the color of skin...But when there is money to be made it's all about the color green and there's always a way to guilt to get that money...

I read somewhere that, overall, many more white folks were made slaves than blacks... again, let's not let facts get in the way.

Blacks in the hood ridicule other blacks that stay in school and try to better themselves, saying that they "are acting like white people".  All the while they play the downtrodden race card... yeah, right.  

I say that we should give them the same opportunities, and if they don't take advantage of the opportunities, then they will have to live with their decisions and inactions.

Please don't get the idea that I am a bigot. I don't fly the Stars and Bars, attend KKK meetings, and treat blacks differently than others. Hell, When I was a health inspector, I took many more white trash to court than blacks. I respected my black "clients" because they did what I asked them to do.

If the govt only had the power to ensure fairness, justice, and equal opportunity in society we would be a much stronger country. Once the govt can use edicts, mandates, and backroom deals... it is corrupted and open to the highest bidder.

Agree.....the problem is that the do nothing collect entitlements crowd has too many members now and the middle class [what there is left] cannot afford more expansion....

To one of Eric's comments, they have the same opportunities as every other American.

In one of my past lives I was on an interview panel at work, where we had affirmative action metrics we were obligated to meet. For full transparency to HR and the business we were given scoring sheets for interview questions.

We interviewed six people for a job, and two stood out (and scored) head and shoulders above the rest. One was a white gal, one was a white guy. There was a black gal we interviewed that scored so low on some questions she was not even remotely a consideration. In a final tally on a score of 1 - 100 she totaled 27 points. We were each called in to the managers office and "coached" on changing our scores for this woman. I refused, so the manager changed my scores for me, they hired her and I quit the interview panel with some choice words.

This woman sat in the office next to mine and we shared a printer. Not only was she unqualified and therefore incapable of performing her job, nobody (her manager) would make her learn how to do it. She served in some capacity at her church and that is what she did at work... church work. On her phone all day, on her computer, on the company printer... For about $80k/year.

That experience made me a less effective employee. I had always been an over-achiever at work, and I quit doing that. I started f-ing off at work, surfing the internet, whatever. Why not? I still worked about 80 hours a week, so it's not like I was robbing the company, but I knew that I could do better and was angry that I had let that experience change me.

We had a black girl as a health inspector and she pulled the race card when she approved a septic tank drain line right next to a drinking water well. "You're picking on me because I'm black." She claimed that she didn't know what a well was and that she was poorly trained.

Of course, the regulations (that she had to memorize) clearly had setbacks from wells, but she never asked her supervisor or anybody else for that matter, what the hell a well was... duh!

I have worked with lots of blacks and I can honestly say that almost all of them were very nice, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with.

Black folks are no different than whites; you have good and bad, educated and uneducated, lazy and achievers, slobs and neatniks. It's society and "white guilt" from liberal no-nothings that create a climate of perpetual "racism". Liberals know they have to hold minorities down to ensure votes so they buy as many as possible with entitlements. They are the true bigots and modern era slave owners. If everyone had to succeed or fail on the same playing field things would be a lot different. And better.

I don't understand why they are against helping the police take down the bad guys by snitching on them. Fear and mistrust of the police are fanned by outside agitators like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, but you'd think that victims and witnesses would want to see criminals removed from their population.

I have watched the videotape of the cop killing Laquan McDonald and this doesn't help the LEO cause either. The kid may have had a knife in his hand, but it looks like he is trying to walk past the LEOs, not harm them.

I don't understand why some blacks are so down on other blacks that try to get an education and escape the ranks of the poor. Maybe they're jealous, I dunno.

If blacks pursued higher education more vigorously and cooperated more with the police, there might be a much more level playing field.

    From the video released of the shooting....it's a bad shoot.  There was no imminent danger and the victim appears to be a distance from the officers and not moving towards or in a threatening manner.  The shooter as in the S.C. case became just another criminal and not a leo for his unjustifiable actions...

    Whats strange is this isn't getting the 'talk' of good ole' boys and cover up by rednecks etc., this happened in Chicago and the mayor is Rahm Emanuel he like his buddy the cowh is getting a free pass on the scrutiny and criticism that other mayors and/or elected officials are subjected to in other incidents.....No presser from the cowh claiming that if he had a son he'd look like Mc Donald....why?...Because of his relationship with Emanuel this is somehow different than the other times he's quickly jumped into the conversation?...There would be calls for firings...resignations and doj investigations for racism/corruption etc., but yet because it's Chicago and his buddy at the helm the 'outrage' isn't nearly as loud as other incidents....

If RE squealed too loud maybe some (somewhat) honest newsie would ask about all the B on B and gang murders going on. That just wouldn't play into the liberal agenda. This cop shooting was avoidable if for nothing else given all the complaints against the POS over the years. He should have been fired LONG before this. Must be hard to recruit new LEOs in that cesspool/war zone.

I agree there are some bad cops, but how many guilty criminals are never found guilty because the witnesses are intimidated by the criminals gang and change their stories to "I didn't see anything", after telling the police a basic second by second account of what happened??

This incident occurred approximately one month before the mayoral election was held....Emanuel was in a tight race and even some experts had him losing....the camera footage was available but with held from being released at the time or shortly thereafter....seems clear as to why Emanuel didn't want that released at the time but now even makes him look worse [if possible] for covering up for a year....Although, while this is a criminal act...unacceptable....and the shooter needs to be prosecuted....all this fake outrage over a city with a murder rate like Chicago's is a little hypocritical....

The big mistake that Chicago made was to sit on this for a year. It appears they were looking for a way to have this "go away" somehow. Well, time didn't heal that problem and they are now dealing with the ramifications for their inaction.

If Chicago had conducted a timely investigation (month or two) and then promptly charged the shooter, the protests probably wouldn't be nearly as big.

I see where the police union is trying to raise funds for the shooter. I guess that is appropriate, since they are just doing what they promised... support members... and, so far, they are not saying the shooter was justified.

Justice delayed is justice denied. Police are citizens... they work for us all. There should be no special treatment should their actions prove negligent or worse. I'm pleased the truth appears to have come out... but whatever special protections came into play that prolonged the investigation more than a week or two is corrupt. None of us would be allowed that privilege under the same circumstances sans the badge. I'm sick of govt employees being above the laws that govern we the people.

And again.....this REEKS of politics and covering up in order for Emanuel to be re-elected or a least not be in the middle of a scandal prior to the election....There are individual(s) responsible that intentionally made the decision to cover up that video....surprised that it even surfaced a year later!...
