My son and daughter left today to go back to their homes. My daughter to Austin Texas, my son to Joliet Illinois.
As they were packing I over heard my daughter tell my son. "Damn I am glad we were able to leave here. I love the folks but this place is no damn good."..

Aww, I'm so sorry you overheard that, hg. It must have really hurt. Try to remind yourself of the context in which she meant it, and the professional success she is presently enjoying in Austin.
