| We drove our boat over and watched in comfort. We didn't park in a boat-congested area either, and still had a great view. | |

That's the way to smell/breathe in comfort too. Did you wait for the flotilla to leave? I guess the lemmings thought it was a great way to get a date? | |

| In the past, we grilled steaks on the boat while the flotilla left. Our newest boat is way too small for grilling steaks. We did eat some salami sammiches, though.
Leaving was much better than getting there.
It was something to do. Better than sitting at home and watching the TV. | |

It was something to do. Better than sitting at home and watching the TV. You misspelled "sammiches". A sign out of the scariest truck I ever saw on the side of the road in Pensacola, with the the most questionable food safety practices ever, spelled it "Pork But Sandwitches". Got my attention anyway. I didn't go. My Hep C vaccines aren't current  . Though I do see they can now cure it with a pill. Maybe next year. | |

| I say sammich all the time. One of the kids said it that way and it stuck. When ordering in a restaurant I do pronounce it properly.  Flashback old days - The last Blue Angels show I attended in Pensacola was in 1980 at NAS Pensacola. Before that I recall shows at Saufley Field. Later years saw them in Missouri - late 90s. Nothing compared to the limited space of Pensacola Beach.  | |

| I won't drive over there for the Blues... that's plum insane. The last time I drove to the Blues was at Mainside's Sherman Field and we had to walk at least a half mile... not that big of a deal. I could use the exercise, lol.
I like Mackiedoodoo's hanguber sammiches... the little ones without cheese. Two of 'em is $2.13. | |
