The "college" that is in the biggest trouble locally is Columbia Southern University.
This system of usually unaccredited have used federal money for years to leave graduates in debt and flailing. The ones burned most will be the people attending now who will find their credits won't transfer. 50 percent of people who default on student loans come from these schools.
Their new trick is to appeal to students in foreign countries who don't understand the accreditation system.

| I have wondered what the deal is on Columbia Southern University. I've seen the building but then their ad says earn your degree online.
