When Deven asked to see the officer’s badge, Frost refused. Deven refused to give Frost the documents, maintaining that he had broken no law. When Deven asked if he was being detained, Frost replied in the affirmative, stating that Deven was being held for not complying with the traffic stop.

After several minutes of refusing to provide the documents, Deven was pulled out of the vehicle by Frost and ordered to get on the ground.

Deven attempted to continue filming the ordeal, which further angered Frost who whipped out a taser and shocked the young man in an attempt to force compliance.

The camera footage cuts out at this point, but audio can still be heard. The video ends with Frost firing seven shots, with a fatal shot to the head. Deven’s anguished scream as he is killed by Frost is deeply disturbing to hear.

Let's review, a cop pulls someone over, asks for the usual papers and the driver refuses (he wasn't carrying his license). The situation escalates and the cop ends up with cuts and bruises to his face and shoots the driver who it turns out had marijuana in his system. Was it handled right? Not really. Was it "murder"? Not according to the prosecutor.

   There you go again....ruining a perfectly good headline with 'facts'...'evidence' and a prosecutor's  decision.....Much easier to go with the headline and blame....Just finished reading an article in the Detroit Free Press where a Sgt had an encounter with an 'unarmed teen' that resulted in the suspects' death...Once again the media and others were having a field day proclaiming this as another example of police abusing their authority and it was an 'unarmed teen'.....If you have a chance go to the Free Press' website and look at the photos of the injuries sustained by the officer by this 'unarmed teen'....Once again good headlines...biased media and some citizens wrong again...

The stop was legit and the decision was made not to comply therefore escalating the situation...believe it or not there are times when 'routine' activities go to shit and there are consequences for doing 'nothing'....

I think the point that Teo was trying to get across is that the cop had no legal reason for pulling the kid over.  Apparently, the cop admitted on video that there were no laws broken.

After that, it was all downhill and the kid fueled the anger of the cop by not complying with the cop's orders.  Well, maybe "anger" is a strong word, but y'all get the message.

The kid would be alive today if the cop had done his job and left him alone. As far as complying. The kid was under no obligation to comply with an illegal stop. He was under an effective custodial arrest and he had a right to not give the cop anything but his name address and date of birth. If he had given the cop his license and anything else he would have in effect, waived his 5th amendment rights against self incrimination. The cop was looking for an infraction to arrest him for and the kid had EVERY right not to help him find one. And yes you are a bunch of authoritarian lovin bootlickers. Sad when a kid knows his rights better than old farts like you. This ain't NAZI Germany. The wounds were probably self inflicted. Cops do that stuff all the time. The lord high POS cop was angry the kid flashed his brights and exacted punishment on an innocent kid...now go grovel peasants before your masters....

I don't dislike authority (granted by the people) when it is properly and justly applied. The court has ruled that you can flip off a cop and there is no wrong committed. So if this kid innocently flashes his brights to make another motorist aware his lights are on bright or need adjusting that is far below flipping a cop off so where was the motive to stop the kid...there was none...

I won't defend Alex Jones. He stands or falls on his own merit. I will say he has every right to make money from selling products. Limbaugh has at least admitted he is nothing but an entertainer, not one I would listen to though! I've never paid any attention to Jones so I can't comment on him.

When the kid asked if he was being detained... and the cop answered affirmatively... the law was broken. Not by the kid... but by the cop. The kid had broken NO law... this is a simple case.

Thanks for simplifying it Pkr. Yup and a young kids life is snuffed out and a maniac cop is still out there free to murder at will....Maybe he can get transferred to Pensacola and make us all feel safer.
