I'm wearing shorts. It was in the 80's here in P'cola yesterday.

I took the cold-frame cover off my herb garden two weeks ago.

It's snowing here right now... and the lake is still frozen.

Usually, the deep South gets nasty cold fronts that clash with the warm air mass and we have swarms of tornadoes. I guess it is the jet stream... or somethin'... that's keeping the bulk of the cold fronts farther North this year.

In Hoover, Alabama where I unfortunately live most of the time until my bride retires, we usually see tornado warnings & watches this time of year... and in the Fall too.

Here's a tornado video of an EF5 that was taken only a few miles from my home up there.

Yeah, it's been beautiful here... really warm. It's supposed to snow in the next few days, but we'll see. I am in the middle of moving to Fox, about 10 - 15 minutes from the mine. Saves me about $20 in fuel per day depending on the season. I'm super happy.



I'll go post some shots of my cousin buzzing the pit in the AK thread. Pretty cool.

It's supposed to be in the sixties on sunday. I might get spring fever.

I think we got most of your weather this year ricey.
