2014 was the last one according to an announcement today. They should have kept it small but now they have priced themselves out of the game by getting bigger and bigger every year. You can still get the sausage in Elberta though!

We went last year. I guess it got too big for it's britches.

Founded, I think, as the Beulah Sausage Festival, primarily to fund the Volunteer Fire Department at a time before the county started taxing land owners to fund fire protection, I guess they lost a sense of direction.

Things change.

I had some Elberta sausage from the Elberta Grocery the other day, get the good stuff without the crowds!
