Woot Woot!!! Santa came early

Something, I have wanted for a long time but never bought. . Some how Eric figured it out ..... Caught me by total surprise...........Thanks Eric and Christine..

So Eric is Santa Claus.....I thought there was a resemblance.

You have to understand that HG is a ham and couldn't use the modified CBs and power amps for them anymore.  He gave me a ton of used CB gear and I just picked up a used 2-meter ham radio to help even the score.  

When he told me he had all that CB stuff, I was drooling.  I knew he wasn't going to use them anymore and hinted that he could get rid of that stuff at my house.

One day, he walked in my door with a huge box full of CB radios, amplifiers, test equipment, and a power supply.  It was like Christmas to me.  And yes, I now have a monster CB in my car.

I was pleased to get him something he could use, and extra pleased that he was wanting that particular type of ham radio.  I hope it gives him years of enjoyment.

Well that's a big 10-4.

So what good is one radio? Right?
 I just bought this one to go with my Christmas  present.  You will not believe this but a 2 meter Baofeng UV5R 136-174/400-480 MHz Dual-Band DTMF CTCSS DCS FM Ham Two-Way Radio is only 31 dollars!!!!  I was looking for a antenna and everyone was talking about this deal..It is getting pretty good reviews.. Crazy world>>>>       The radio that Eric got me is like a Mercedes in the radio business. It cost 7 or 8 times what the Chinese hand held cost...No real comparison
