| American troops were exposed to chemical weapons multiple times in the years following the 2003 invasion of Iraq, while the Pentagon kept their discoveries of the expired or degraded weapons secret from investigators, fellow soldiers, and military doctors, according to a published report.
The New York Times reported late Tuesday that American troops reported finding approximately 5,000 chemical warheads, shells, or aviation bombs in the years following the 2003 invasion of Iraq. On at least six occasions, soldiers were wounded by those weapons, which had been manufactured before 1991. In all, the paper reported that 17 U.S. soldiers and seven Iraqi police officers were exposed to chemical agents during the war. The U.S. government said its number was slightly higher, but did not release a specific figure http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2014/10/15/us-troops-wounded-by-decades-old-chemical-weapons-during-iraq-war-report-claims/

| Al Muthanna chemical weapons depot in Iraq was seized by ISIS/ISL June 12, 2014 ...weapons that were suppose to be destroyed by Iraq. 40 kilograms of uranium (enough for a dirty bomb) was seized by ISIS/ISIL from Mosul University sometime before July 8, 2014.
Gives a whole new perspective on the Bush WMD in Iraq.

| What many Bush Bashers will say is NOTHING. This latest evidence of WMDs runs counter to the liberals claims that Bush was a liar about WMDs in spite of evidence to the contrary. Now this comes to light that the Pentagon unilaterally (doesn't seem plausible though) withheld information about WMDs. I have to wonder how many other folks were impacted by exposure and ignored by the Pentagon. No wonder current troops don't really trust the senior leadership anymore.
Remember Agent Orange? The cycle continues.......

Remember Agent Orange? The cycle continues....... Very true sadly.....they covered up agent orange until WAY too many Vietnam Vets had died...then and only when confronted with evidence and alarming statistic rates was the cover-up removed... Nice the way the government has taken care of Veterans over the years....

| Cannon fodder. Our boys are expendable, it seems.
And spend copious amounts of greenbacks on the war machine while the VA finds creative ways to deny medical treatment to our vets.

| The use of depleted uranium is an unforgivable action and those that authorized it need executed. | |
