The [GAI] Government Accountability Institute reported yesterday that the cowh has attended 42.3% of the daily intelligence briefings in his second term and 42.4% in his first term. The White House did not dispute the number but added that the cowh doesn't attend the 'face to face' briefings but reads the information later.
Is there something more important at that time?... Wouldn't a face to face briefing allow a conversation and questions on the hot spots being discussed?... And yet in a 60 Minutes [fluff-softball interview] the cowh said "we underestimated the rise of ISIS" and later repeated a similar comment stating that the "Intelligence Communities failed to recognize the rapid growth of ISIS"....???? The same intelligence that wasn't important enough to attend face to face briefings?
Intelligence sources have repeatedly stated that they provided information on ISIS for over a year. Is there any wonder why this administration seems surprised and in crisis mode? Perhaps attending and listening to intell briefings would have been a great place to start but why start now when you're six plus years in already...
