I'm getting ready to fly out tomorrow......I stay busy with my 3 kids and 8 grandchildren. It's soccer season now and that will be followed by basketball.

That lady kept locking her kids out of the house and my next door neighbors were trying to help them. The child depart got called and she went to jail is what I am told.

Next I know, no one was in that house for a while and now some nice lady from NJ and a very pure bred indian man live there now. It was so sad this past week, she had come home from work and she put her American pit bull dog out on a chain just for a few and a storm came up quick and I ran inside and heard a loud boom lightening strike and lightening had struck the dog chain and killed the dog.

That was a pretty dog too. This occurrence is now how I have met the new people living there. They are much quieter.

That area gets a lot of lightning. Up the road a bit, Tampa is the lightning capital of the US.

I have a phobia about lightning. I used to work as a kid on a golf course, and without a lot of trees around, my butt would pucker if a lightning storm was around and I was mowing an elevated green.

In our catamaran, we got struck by lightning, or it struck close enough to us for the click and BANG to come at the same time. Christine's leg was up against one of the stays... a wire that holds up the mast... and she screamed "Yow" from the shock.

I turn into a real wussy when I am outside and lightning is around. I am not ashamed to admit it.

You dont want to dance with me anymore? Awwww

Throw a chain around the mast and drop the other end in the water the stay away from the mast till the storm passes.

I never really thought about it, but now that you had showed that link and we were talking about lightening I have been noticing it more. We have some wild looking lightening here that goes across the sky. Its amazing looking actually. As was the day this happened last week. I didn't want to say anything about it then as to be considerate to stormy. Hopefully she won't be upset by my news.

To be honest I kind of have a little fetish about bad weather. It makes me feel alive and its erotic to me.

BUT NOT in a boat. It is NOT sexy then.........
