Need some help, please

I have this icon on my version of the forum (see image).  It tells me that I have posted on the topic.  A forum member is trying to enable this and I cannot figure it out.



Does anybody know how to enable this option?  Forumotion's web site doesn't help much.

It doesn't do it for this particular poster... and yes, Chrissy, it should show up if you have posted to the topic.

On Forumotion's web site, I saw a reference to deleting cookies, and it dealt with this icon, but the problem was slightly different.

(It was writing the text at every topic, instead of showing the icon)

I hate to tell someone to delete cookies because you have to go in and supply the username/password for all the sites that cookies enter for you automatically.

Teo, I activated that and it added the avatar of the last person who posted to that thread over on the right, and it screwed up the text, driving some of the text off the screen.

I quickly deleted that function.

I might activate that function later and show you what I mean. I'm on the iPad now and it is a pain in the butt doing anything serious with an iPad.

How do you know its not doing that?

Because he emailed me to see why it wasn't working for him.

Was it working before for him? Because I only see that on post I've replied to. So if he has noticed it missing it must have been working before for him. And maybe he changed computers or something.

It works for him on the PDF.

It has to be a setting that he has in his Profile for this forum.  At least, that's what I think is the issue.

I went into my personal settings to see if un following a thread changed that tab, it did not.

Got it. Don't know what I did but that's now appearing...... So what does it mean if I haven't posted in a thread and the same icon is there but colored yellow? Just consider me...
