| I love the ribs and sauce from Arlene's. Shane's in GB has a great pork sandwich....the Bid Daddy. |

| There is a welding place on Gulf Beach Hwy close to Patton Dr.. His sign advertises BBQ grills, but he also sells BBQ if you are lucky enough to get there when he has some.. There are chain-link fences with gates.. If the gates are open, he's open.. He LOVES talking, so it might take a while to get what you want.. LOL |

| The place on 9th and La Rua St......smokes ribs. From the street the smell is awesome but the ribs are terrible.
I just finished my 3rd BBQ pulled pork roast in the last 2 weeks, for parties. The recipe is listed in another thread. I buy Arlene's sauce to use on the cooked pork. I buy the pork butts from Winn Dixie. |

| Thanks, Joani. I got it as a birthday present almost 15 years ago. It came from Academy Sports & Outdoors. It is called an Oklahoma Joe's cooker and it has over 1,000 square inches of cooking area. It was so heavy that it came shipped with it's own over-sized pallet at the bottom, so fork lifts can handle it. It does a great job on turkey breasts too. The little inset picture with the flames was to show that I was burning firewood-sized pieces of hickory.  _________________ Ideas are funny little things, they won't work unless you do.

| Whenever the cooker shows patches of rust, I'll hit it with some Ospho to kill the rust, then paint it with high-temp flat black.
