Seriously, if someone can't be civil here, I'd just as soon see that they are taking a break from the action.

Y'all must have some "history" over at PDF, I guess.

She wasn't using that name but anything posted by me and a few others was either automatically a "lie" or worse, same thing here. At first I thought she would calm down on here but that didn't last long. Rational and civil disagreements about politics can be enlightening since no individual can be right all the time. But only when discussed like an adult.

One of the original drive by posters....usually never commenting on the content on the post but rather only smartass comments and personal...Had a habit of cyberstalking mostly 'nochain' but myslef from time to time...No problems with discussion and/or disagreements and/or back and forth but just got old with that individual...Knew who it was when arriving here from the first post...Just one of many over there that accused some of using different names to post when those that were accusing were actually doing the very thing they accused...That's why some/most left...it got old and there were only discussions between just a few...

BLUNDER WOMAN STARTS HER OWN CHANNEL (and for only $9.99 per month you too can listen to Sarah Palin's nasal Fargo impression!)

When I first saw the "news" that Sarah Palin was going to launch her own computer-based entertainment channel I was quite certain I was reading from one of those "Onion"-type satirical news sites. But... believe it or not... this seems to be a real thing.

The former half-term governor of Alaska, she of the Magical Mystery Bus Tour across Amurca, even has a promo video to tout the wonderfulness of her new Sarah Palin Channel, and if you've got the stomach for two solid minutes of Palinese, you can see it here for yourselves. Put down your coffee first, though, because I'm not responsible for anything you spew on your computer monitors.

That's right, folks (Right, with a capital R), the woman who just can't get enough attention spouting her idiocy as a Faux News "contributor", or from killing animals on her hokey dokey "reality" shows, has launched her very own Glenn Beck-ish network. And for only 96 cents a month more than you would have to pay for Netflix, you can have 24/7 Sarah Palin-related entertainment.

Think about that for a minute, if you can. Let's call it a thought experiment and play along together. A 24 hour a day network devoted solely to the Pander Express Lady herself. All Sarah, all the time. If Jack Bauer tied a suspected terrorist to a chair and forced him to watch this sh#t 'round the clock for the entirety of the series "24", even folks who support using torture tactics to obtain information would cry "Enough! Dear God, turn off that f^kc*ng noise!"

There's no confirmation of what happens to a customer's $99.95 yearly subscription if the star of the show bails on this new venture halfway through the season, but I'm of the opinion that they're better off without the money. I remember something about "A fool and his money...", and really, can you think of anything more apt for that adage than someone ponying up for a yearlong subscription to watch this s*it???

Seriously, it was all I could do just to let that two minute promo video play through 'til the end. There's something about her voice that makes me impulsively dive for the mute button...

All Sarah, all the time. What a concept.

You know, I bought her book and I couldn't even read it. I got to page 24 and couldn't read another word... I sent it to Az and she read it, lol. It is the only book in my life that I could not/did not finish. True story.

You just don't criticize his politics, though. You go after his school loans, vacations, Michelle's clothes and shoes, his birth certificate, his father, his friends and any other bogus issue you can find.

I believe you have missed Joani's point... recall the extremely personal attacks that were made against the Palin family, adults and children alike. Also, people attacked Bush's (or insert any other POTUS's name there) vacations, education, military record, all sorts of equally bogus issues, and the first lady's clothing choices. It's just part of what you sign up for when you choose to run for POTUS or VP.

Obama is not special.

Remember the SNL skit about the Palins?... In an attempt at comedy they 'joked' about incest and the real father of her son... Can't remember ANY other candidate being subjected to that type of behavior...This family had a writer(?) move in next to them in an attempt to get any kind of dirt for his book...

Correct...[name] cowh is not special....but when you're given a free pass by the media one may begin to believe they are special...

Can't remember any other "political" family who brought their daughter's baby daddy out on the stage with them during a convention either.
Yoiu've got to admit Ms Sarah certainly begs for gossip and foolishness to be said about her.
I don't admire anyone for shooting wolves out of a helicopter either, whether it's a man or a woman doing it.

I'm glad I read back and you guys weren't talking about me. You were really getting onto kool about something. Guess now I'll have to read back further.

Okay, on edit, I did read back. She said something about Eric's moderation being bad because he told me one day to take my "moral high ground back" if I remember right. I think I told him I didn't intend to take my moral high ground back and that was the end of it. I think Eric is an extremely fair moderator myself. Kissy, kissy, nose turning brown here. I wouldn't have come over to this place filled with all you right wing folks if there wasn't a good referee.

Polecat, I can't handle two minutes of Sarah. Her voice is like fingernails on a chalkboard.
I'd have to go live in a cave away from all media containing audio if she was elected president.

I know. and when they run Elizabeth warren we will be racist too because she is indian LOL

They always find superficial blame, because they cant believe it could ever be their idealology or policy.

I didn't know she was Indian but I've decided to do like the Canadians and call them First Nations people. I think that shows the ultimate respect we can show for our Native Americans. I'll just let other people figure out what I'm talking about when I use that term. It would be nice if it could catch on down here.

I'd love to see Elizabeth Warren run and win, but Hillary will be the nominee in 2016 and we'll have more of the same old corporatist BS we've had since Reagan took office.

Thanks, but it doesn't make a difference. I drink with Bob all the time, but I told him I would ban him too, if he pulled some of the shit he pulled over at PDF.

The Indians here are not First Nation people when this nation was settled

They were not established or united

Just a bunch of opposing tribes living in the woods fighting each other

I can say that, I'm more Indian than warren lol

They weren't united in Canada either. That's why they are called first "nations" and not first nation. They did have their own nations- Creek nations, Sioux nations, etc. They aren't "native Americans" anymore than I am. I was born in America, that makes me a native American. They aren't Indians because they did not come from India, obviously.
Americans have always been confused by what to call them. Like I said, I think the Canadians show more respect by admitting they were here first. Of course, the Canadians show more respect in nearly every aspect of their culture than we do.

Sweet Baby Jeebus: Mooselini opposes and supports putting troops in Iraq? And some poor schmuck is paying $10/mo for this sort of insight.

Once again, we must thank Grandpa Walnuts for bringing this dingbat to our nation’s attention, and suggesting that she should be one heartbeat away from the nuclear codes.

The only persons we need to thank grand pa walnuts for is all the voters who put Obama in office.

That man has done more to harm this country than an attack by a million radical islamist......

◾The Hawiian Devil Baby and Kenyan Usurper Barack Hussein Obama has used his super-dictator powers as a weakling Tzar (or something) and decreed that no government facilities can show Fox News, or at least that what One News Now alleges.
