The producers guild gave out their awards last night and for the first time in 25 years there was a tie between winners TWELVE YEARS A SLAVE and GRAVITY. The last six years the Oscar voters have agreed with the producers. Not this year. Next week the directors guild awards should shed a little more light on who the Oscars will go with.

Have you watched GRAVITY yet? We watched the preview, and I was not intrigued. If we watch it, we'll have to buy it on Amazon, so I want to know if it's worth it.

Watched GRAVITY and I liked it more than I thought but I still think it's over rated. I guess the preview must sum it up. The directors gave their award to GRAVITY. This past weekend the British gave their award to 12 YEARS A SLAVE for best movie and actor and GRAVITY for British movie and director. It now seems 12 Years has a slight edge in the betting odds over GRAVITY for best picture Oscar.
