| Merry Christmas to all of you. Santa came earlier this evening and brought a new PS4 to our house. Actually, it wasn't Santa at all but my son who decided to go and look at Walmart about 30 minutes before they closed to see if they had gotten any of the systems in at the very last minute, and By JOVE- They DID!!!!PS4's have been AWOL from all the stores since Black Friday, so it was a Christmas Eve Miracle. Tomorrow we'll all be going to one of my daughter's houses to have dinner, and then visiting Mom at the ALC for awhile. My best friend brought over some banana pudding to contribute to our dinner tomorrow, and my son in law will be frying the turkey outside in the bitter, bitter cold. But that's what he wants to do, so bless him for it. I hope you all enjoy your holiday as much as we plan to and be sure and bundle up in the morning because it may just be freezing. I will definitely enjoy that though because the fireplace will be nice and warm.
A warm fireplace on a cold day is one of life's greatest blessings. |

| It has been getting down in the 20's here in Hoover the last few nights. It is 24 right now and we'll have a high of 51. We love a good fire too. Our wood stove here in Hoover heats the whole house. When it gets roaring, we crack some windows as it gets too hot in the house. | |
