| Has anyone else had trouble with the latest FF rollout (v.25.0)? As soon as I "upgraded" to FF v.25.0 Firefox started crashing roughly every 15 minutes. I am not known for my patience, so... I had to reset my FF, which is NOT as easy as it sounds, for those of you who've never had to do it. For starters, it requires backing up your entire FF Profile, which is roughly 20GB, which (of course) you later have to reinstate to your new and unimproved FF Profile. All while trying to muddle through their jacked-up "destructions," as I prefer to call them. One would THINK the fancy SYNC feature would help you in this sort of a situation, but it don't. | |

| I had so much trouble with Firefox over the last year or so that I have nearly stopped using it. I never use it on my laptop. Firefox was crashing time after time - not only my older computer, but also my brand new one.

| I use Chrome on both my laptop and my tower. Google or not, it works a lot better than Firefox. Chrome has never crashed on me.
(Although I am on Firefox right now - ha! I prefer Firefox, but I can't stand the constant crashing.)

| I was a Firefox user, but switched to Chrome about 6 months ago when FF messed up. I like that you can type a query right in the URL bar in Chrome. | |

| Beware of the browser called "Pale Moon." I tried it once, and it crashed my computer big time. | |

| Interesting. I once had trouble with FF and installed Chrome and it majorly f-ed my whole world up and I uninstalled it ASAP. I might try Seamonkey, which I've used before and is another Mozilla product. | |

| I have been using FF like forever. I downloaded version 25 when it was released and so far I have not had any issues with it. I also had never had any issues with any of the previous versions that I also ran before any updates. I have tried various other, including Chrome and Pale Moon and unfortunately they were crap as far as I was concerned. Unless FF starts causing me problems, I will continue to utilize it.
As Creedence Clearwater Revival might say, maybe I'm just a "Fortunate Son".

| Yeah, even though FF v.25.0 was giving me some grief and I had trouble w/one previous version, I do not foresee that I will ever switch (permanently) to anything else. I only ever use other browsers when I have trouble, and I very strongly suspect that my troubles have more to do with my POS computer than with FF.
I've also been using FF "like, forever," haha, and I like it. I've also found other browsers to be crap. Chrome was a HUGE disappointment.

| I need to install FF on this machine. The other day, I was trying to view a Sam's catalog and it didn't display properly. I tried it in the only other browser installed on my laptop (ugh, IE) and it displayed properly. | |

| I get SO annoyed with sites that are only functional in IE. It really ticks me off and is a SUPER huge pet peeve of mine. I find that it's usually with really important stuff... insurance, 401k,... stuff like that. And considering that IE is, like, the LEAST frigging secure browser out there... ARRRGGGHHH!!! "Why, why, WHYYYY???" | |
