Have always been partial to governors running because they have been out of the DC mentality and are mandated by law to have blanced budgets...why that's not the same with the Fed Govt is a mystery...Govs make difficult decisions and because budgets are mandated there have to be negotiations/compromise with the State Legislatures in order to comply....Those (both parties) that have made careers out of the DC way are not the answer...

I just don't want another career politician or someone like Oblamer - no experience in ANYTHING except extreme hypocrisy sitting in that office. Who do you have in mind?

Just no warm overs....past and/or career politicians...Have listened to Gov Susan Martinez from New Mexico and probably Gov Christie will jump into the fray...Want the candidate to FOCUS on the real problems rather than having the media portray them for cannon fodder...

I don't think anyone could say anything about McCains sacrifice in the service but you are right - his time as a major politician is over. We don't need the distraction of all his controversial statements in the past.

Any bets that Hillary will be treated differently with her past statements and actions?....And that's the problem the democrats will have to decide because what else but government to solve all problems does she know?...

Here's what you don't understand. A lot of people like it when the government solves our problems. Like when we get our Social Security checks and we can go to the hospital and Medicare pays for it.

Hillary would crush John McCain into the ground without even trying.
I'd say the Republicans need to find some halfway reasonable person other than McCain to be their candidate but oops- there aren't any. LOL

I'll be glad to see the Big Dog back living in the Big White House. I can't wait.
