Police Boat - Drive It Like They Stole It! . How much have you had to drink officer... .
A D.C. Police harbor boat responding to an emergency call crashed into two vessels.
One of the small boats sunk. Efforts to save it failed.
"We first saw a police boat that took off really fast, like it was taking a call," a witness said. "Then, we saw the second one that backed out and instead of going around the way the way the other one had, he came toward the boats and he gunned it and he hit both boats."
The U.S. Coast Guard and MPD responded to start an investigation.
It's unclear why the driver lost control.

Okay, this is a 15-minute long video, but it is extremely well written and produced (minor profanity). Lots of statistics and data inserted here.
In the Pensacola area, I can think of places where speed limits are idiotic... say, I-10 from Hwy 29 East to about where 9th avenue is located. Or, perhaps Sorrento Road from the Perdido Bay CC to Bauer Road. (These are great places to get the finger for going just 5 over.)

In support of common sense, they DID raise (heaven forbid) the speed limit on Gulf Beach Highway from Navy Blvd west to Beach Haven.

There is a substance that you can legally buy (at least here in Alabama) called Tannerite. It explodes when shot by a powerful gun. According to my son, who plays around with this stuff, a .22 won't set it off... it must be a powerful gun.
