| This was the prettiest dog I have owned... and also the dumbest! This was the smartest dog I ever had and we miss her so much. | |

The pic of the dog in the car is something I found on the web that I occasionally use as an avatar, although I had a husky by the name of Big Blue who looked remarkably similar. The dog in the bed is mine, and her name is Lily. She is by far the funniest dog I've ever owned.

Speaking of avatars is your avatar that of David Patrick Kelly who played the part of "Sully" in Commando? If not he surely has a remarkable resemblance.

| This is my Varigated Kansuela Bird, very rare, it escaped three days ago and I am distraught. I got it from Birdy and she will kill me it is lost forever. It is about the size of a Ruby-throated hummingbird but is wingless and so it lives under leaves. Very difficult to see. Unless you are a cat. | |

An old ornithologist I met one time told me if it looks like a crow, walks like crow and caws like a crow it will likely be a crow. And then there was the crow who came home from a long day at his job and as he picked up the receiver of his answering machine, thought to himself, "I wonder if I have a lot of caws."

| Crows are the coolest critters on Earth.
"Crows live everywhere in the world except Antarctica ... ... New research has shown that they are among the most intelligent animals on the planet. They use tools as only elephants and chimpanzees do, and recognize 250 distinct calls. One particular talent they have been discovered to possess is the ability to recognize individual human faces and pick them out of a crowd up to two years later -- a trick that might make even Hitchcock shiver with fright."

Good one, Yella. Hey, we're coming to town not this weekend but the next. Let's get together if you're available.
That bird looks like it came from "Yellow Submarine".
