Men cannonball onto manatee and her calf - and now they face charges

What idiots! I hope the penalty levied against them is significant.

What is wrong with people? Idiots.

Some years back, we spent a few days at Blue Springs State Park. It was the first time I had seen manatees in the wild. Such peaceful creatures, they don't harm anything.

I went scuba diving a few years ago in Crystal River. The manatees are such docile creatures, I can see why they are referred to as gentle giants. The are most definitely not afraid of humans, they will even approach humans and allow the humans to pet them.

Give them the MAX time and fines. They are just smart ass punks....
