Coyotes - y'all have them?

Out at the Perdido Bay Country Club, we hear them a couple of times a month.

Several times it sounded like there were two packs howling... One on either side of us.

I worry about our dogs and take precautions, but nature calls, y'know, and they have to go outside sometime.

Eric, I haven't sen any around my area.

Eric, I boarded my horses in Lillian and had pet ducks there. The coyotes ate one of them.

Not so sure they'd attack a dog, though. Are your dogs tiny? I thought they were more medium sized.

Anyway, yes, there are coyotes. I also found them in Navarre along with bears.

I saw a YouTube video (I think) where a security cam caught coyotes attacking a small dog. It wasn't a pretty sight. The dog survived, though, but I think it was because a young man came over. Yes, they will attack dogs. Ours are 30 lb or so... like you said... medium sized.

I don't think they'll attack the dogs if they are together, as they are almost the size of coyotes... a little shorter maybe.

But if multiple coyotes get a chance to attack ONE of our dogs by himself, I don't think they'll hesitate.

Oh, hun, I would worry. My ducks were LARGE. Just a word of caution





But, then I'm a worrier.
