| Yes, I think they're irises. They just popped up over the last couple of days. |

| Thanks to the previous owner, there is always something blooming in the yard, especially this time of year. And now finally, the fireflies are out. They are late this year. It was a late Spring. But now, Huntsville is beautiful. I love this time of year here. The mountains are green again. Everything is so pretty. But.....we are selling our house here. We are Florida bound. We put the house on the market and got an offer to buy on the first day. I love my yard and don't want to leave it. Wish I could pick up our house and yard and take them to Florida. |

| LOL, Eric. I WISH! I am still on a mission to find that magical place! It probably doesn't exist in Florida? Actually, this part of Huntsville is very nice. Low crime rate, great schools. And trees and rolling hills. I will miss it.

| I am. Not the Pensacola area. Northeast Florida.

| My heart will always be in Pensacola. Even though I feel it's not the same place I grew up. But my kids are in Northeast Florida. For now, anyway. lol. |

| I will miss these hills... called mountains... but nothing like the mountains out west. Something I will not miss... tornadoes. We have a bunch of them up this-a-way. They just did their usual Wednesday 10 am tornado siren test and the dogs ran outside barking . The one nearby is like a police car siren. The one near our first Hoover home had the high pitch, but also a low pitch to it too... like an air raid siren... and it was about 10 houses away. Damn! You would think they're fixin' to drop the BIG one, Martha! | |

| I will miss these hills too. And the rocks! But not in the winter time when, frankly, I think it's ugly and depressing here. I like greenery year round, and we don't have it up here. But this time of year here is just so gorgeous and I will miss my yard, and I will miss our drives through north Alabama and up into Tenn. It's been a good 3 years here. No regrets, and we would move here and buy this house again in a heartbeat if we had it to do over. I love my neighborhood, I love this part of Huntsville. I really love being close to Nashville. Our daughter might would even say it was good to have us a 10 hour drive away from her when she was in college, lol. And she might just miss our trips to Nashville more than I will. OK, probably not more than I will, but daughter and I both fell in love with Nashville over the last 3 years. Our kids were surprised because they thought we'd be up here another 5 years or so, and that was originally the plan...for hubby to retire at his job here. And then probably head back to FL. But when the opportunity came for us to get back to Florida....well, we had to take it. |

| Oh tornadoes...will not miss them. Not at all. They are scary as hell to me. We don't have a basement in this house or any kind of shelter. We just go stand in the hall bathroom when the alarm goes off. |

| It's dark and cloudy here now. First thing I think of when the skies are dark like this--tornadoes. Cannot even enjoy a good downpour and thunderstorm without worrying about tornadoes. |
